CodexFit has a library of reports covering bookings, attendance, sales, memberships, instructors, stock, marketing and more. Every report downloads as a CSV file, which opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. This article shows you how to run one, schedule it to run automatically, and make sense of the results.
Run a report
- In the admin panel, open Reports → Reports and create a new report run.
- Pick the report and fill in its filters. Any required filters must be set before the report will run.
- The report runs in the background. When it's finished, open it from the Reports list and download the results.
Schedule a report
Any report can also run on its own from Reports → Scheduled Reports. You can set:
- Frequency: Daily, Weekly (pick the day) or Monthly (pick a day from the 1st to the 28th, or the last day of the month), at a time you choose. The default time is 08:00.
- Rolling dates: set date filters relative to the day the report runs (for example, "last 7 days") so every run covers a fresh period. Or leave the dates fixed.
- Email when complete: notify chosen admin users, and any extra email addresses, when the file is ready.
Use Run Now to run a schedule straight away. You can switch a schedule on or off at any time.
Read your results
- Money columns follow your workspace's Currency units in exports setting. Unless it's set to major units, amounts show in pence with no currency symbol, so £12.50 appears as 1250. If it's set to major units, it appears as 12.50.
- Date ranges include the whole of the From and To days, unless a report's notes say otherwise. Each report says which date the range applies to, for example the date a booking was made versus the date of the class.
- Include customer details options, where a report has them, add the customer's name, email and telephone next to their customer ID.
Report guides
Each guide explains every report in its group: what it does, when to use it, its filters, and what the downloaded file contains.
