ClassPass lets ClassPass members book into your classes. Once it's connected, your chosen classes appear on the ClassPass schedule, and their reservations arrive in CodexFit as normal bookings, with a credit created for each one automatically.
Follow along
This step-by-step guide shows each click. The written steps below explain what each setting does.
Before you start
- Check you have a ClassPass account manager. You'll send them two details from CodexFit in Step 3 so they can switch things on at their end.
- Check your permissions. Your admin account needs the Manage configuration permission. If you can't see Integrations in Business Settings, ask the owner of your account to add it for you.
Step 1: Create a ClassPass credit type
A credit type is how CodexFit records a visit that was paid for outside your own memberships. Giving ClassPass its own credit type keeps its visits separate in your reports.
- Go to your CodexFit admin (
your-club-name.codexfit.com/admin). - Go to Business Settings → Credit Types.
- Click New credit type.
- Name it ClassPass and click Create.
Step 2: Add and set up the integration
- Go to Business Settings → Integrations and click Add integration.
- Find ClassPass and click the plus icon. You'll land on the ClassPass settings page. There's no password or key to enter, because the connection is already set up for you.
- Fill in these fields:
- Credit type to generate for bookings: choose the "ClassPass" credit type from Step 1.
- Payment method to log when generating credits: choose System.
- Credit value (optional): roughly what one ClassPass visit is worth to you, including tax. This is only a guide for reporting and payroll. ClassPass's real pricing varies, so treat it with caution.
- Credit tax rate (optional): the tax percentage included in that value, for example 20.
- Click Save settings.
- Click Enable.
Step 3: Send your details to ClassPass
Once ClassPass is enabled, CodexFit shows a box with the details your ClassPass account manager needs. Send them:
- Your Partner ID. Click the copy icon next to it.
- Your Venue ID for each location. Click the copy icon next to it.
ClassPass uses these to switch the integration on at their end. Until they do, your classes won't show on ClassPass.
Step 4: Choose which classes go on ClassPass
Any class that accepts the ClassPass credit type appears on the ClassPass schedule. Add it to each class you want to offer:
- Go to Events and open a class.
- Click Edit, then open Payment Options.
- Open the Accepted Credit Types menu and choose ClassPass.
- Click Save changes.
Repeat this for every class you want on ClassPass. To do many at once, select them in Events and use a bulk update.
What happens next
- ClassPass reservations show up in CodexFit as normal bookings.
- CodexFit automatically creates a "ClassPass" credit to pay for each one.
My class isn't showing on ClassPass
- Is ClassPass enabled in Business Settings → Integrations?
- Have you sent your Partner ID and Venue ID to your ClassPass account manager, and have they confirmed?
- Does the class accept the ClassPass credit type?
Still stuck? Contact CodexFit support and tell us the class name and date.
