We've sent out a emails to everyone over the past few months notifying you of platform updates but wanted to get a comprehensive update out there and also share some exciting upcoming news. As things start to become more normal, we'll return to more regular platform updates.
The biggest changes released recently but that have taken a lot of effort over the past few months relate to the speed of the CodexFit dashboard. If you have a lot of data in your visual timetable, you may notice now how quickly it loads – we first improved it's speed 2-3 times and on the most recent update we're seeing improvements up to 14 times faster!
You can also set your default location on the visual timetable and we'll remember this so it's helpful if you have some front of house staff who only work at a single location – the system now remembers that so they can see just events at their location quicker.
A long requested feature is going live over the next few days and it's product collections. So you can now organise products into collections to clean up your purchasing area and make it quicker to find what customer's need. You'll find some help documentation here to get that setup.
Tags have been super charged to give you more power to identify customers and give them more time to book. See our help docs here.
If you're not yet using the automator to tag up new customers or send milestone emails, it's a great time to think about it. The automator is a powerful tool that allows you to setup actions based on certain events and conditions. For example, when someone attends their 50th class, you can setup CodexFit to automatically send an email and give them a free credit or maybe a voucher for a discount off their next pack. There are new actions so make sure you check those out. Check out our latest training article here.
If you're using our digital platform (contact support if you're interested in upgrading), we now let you setup Zoom events directly in CodexFit and send out links/allow customers to join a Zoom call from within your My Account area. These are unique links so only those who book with a credit or plan will be able to join, reducing the overall load on instructors to manage attendance.
We're feeding in all sorts of new data into Mailchimp. If you'd like to receive that data, just add some new columns (merge tags) into your Mailchimp audience. Find out how and the new data in our support article here.
Automatically add vouchers to cart
You can now share a URL that has a voucher in it to automatically add a voucher to cart. And if you didn't know already, you can automatically have a voucher add credit bundle or plan to your cart. So with this new tool, you can not only automatically apply discounts but you can pre-populate carts with the stuff you want customers to buy. This one is a bit more nerdy but interesting to share with your performance marketing teams. We've updated the data we send through the datalayer. Check out that article here and share the document at the bottom with your performance team to see if there's something they may be interested in using.
We hope the days where this functionality is needed is behind us but we've built tools to allow you to bulk pause memberships. To use this, go to general-->subscriptions. You can then tick all subscriptions you want to pause, then look in the action dropdown to pause. The action will start and you'll get an email sharing the results of the bulk action.
You'll see a little lens in the upper right hand corner of the customer listing. You can use this to filter customers by tags, bookings, etc.
We've got a few new things that we're aiming to release over the next few months including:
- A new cart - this one has been in the works for a while and is a complicated piece of kit. It will allow for quite a bit more flexibility at checkout and for us to grow what we can offer at checkout
- ClassPass - we've been working on an integration with ClassPass. More to follow on this.
- Reviews - We're working on functionality allowing you to gather reviews for your classes.
- Metabase integration - Data dashboarding tools are all the rage and we're working on offering a tool to allow you to visualise data. This will be an add-on and we'll shortly share pricing on this new service.
