Features included in this release:
- Addition of specific GTM tracking events - additional data is being fed via Google Tag Manager. If you use this on your site to analytics purposes, please see the following support article which may also be provided to any social/performance marketing agencies you may be working with.
- Purchase confirmation emails - these emails have been optimised to align more closely with the frontend shopping cart experience.
- Quicker transactions - much more of a nerdy note here but the processing of events is being streamlined so that when a customer makes a purchase, the transaction is processed more quickly. It's likely you'll notice minimal changes but where this functionality really shines is if you have many customers hitting your site at the same time - it keeps the system moving quickly in crunch times.
- IE Stability - while both browsers have minimal market share compared to Chrome, we've improved compiling to ensure a more reliable browsing experience on IE and Edge.
