Bundle types vs credit types?
Bundle types: You can categorise the bundles you eventually create. For example, you might offer a bundle of credits for kids classes and you would therefore setup a kids bundle type. Or, you may want to put together bundles for new members and therefore you'd setup a new member bundle type. More than anything, bundle types are primarily a way to organise all the credit bundles you eventually create.
Credit types: When you're setting up credit types, these are eventually used to tell a class what type of credits it should accept. Many locations opt to have a standard credit where all classes are treated the same whereas some offer speciality classes that carry a premium and therefore setup credits to work in specific classes only.
Advice
We generally advise to setup a Pay as You Go bundle type and use this across credit bundles. However, if you want to target different audiences, bundle types can help you organise them. Depending on how the frontend is setup, the bundle type can be used to display the bundles differently.
