Urban Sports Club (USC) integration allows your gym or studio to offer classes to USC members, manage bookings, and handle cancellations seamlessly. This guide explains how to set up and manage the integration without technical knowledge.
1. Connecting to USC
How to Get Started
To connect your gym to USC, follow these steps:
- Contact USC at [support@urbansportsclub.com] to request integration access.
- Once approved, you will receive login credentials or an API key (no technical setup required on your end).
- Provide these details to your account manager or enter them into the settings under "Urban Sports Club" in Admin > Configs
- Confirm that your class schedule is correctly set up.
2. Setting Up Your Classes
How Classes Sync
- Your class schedule automatically syncs with USC once the integration is activated.
- Only scheduled classes within the next two weeks will appear for USC members.
- Classes need to be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance to allow time for bookings.
Naming & Categories
- The list of categories is pulled from the USC API, and then it is up to you to choose the most relevant category that matches your event type.
- We do not enforce strict categories, so your event types can be flexible. For example:
- "Hot Yoga" or "Michael Jackson music-themed Zen Yoga" can all be mapped to the "Yoga" category from USC.
- Choose the closest category that best describes your event.
3. Managing Bookings & Cancellations
How Bookings Work
- USC members book classes through their app, and these bookings sync with your gym software.
- Your gym software will show USC bookings just like regular bookings.
Cancelling or Changing a Class
- If you cancel a class, USC members will automatically lose their bookings.
- If you change the time of a class, USC will not update it automatically. Instead, you must cancel the original class and create a new one.
- Always check your schedule before making changes to avoid disrupting USC bookings.
