CodexFit allows you to create a registration form and the my account area form where customer's can update their details.
The information you gather at each place can be different, too.
Please follow these steps to update what customers provide at registration vs what customers can provide in the my account area.
*The following is applicable if you have had CodexFit integrated from 2022 and later on your website.
To update the forms customers complete at registration or update in the my account area
- Login to your dashboard: [companyname].codexfit.com
- Navigate to settings then under system settings, select configs
- You can now edit the Metafields (Customer Register) and/or
Metafields (Customer Update) - You will see a default set of options enabled but you can add new questions or remove ones that are optional
- After you have finished making updates, click on update. The changes you have made should immediately now be visible on your website.
If you want to make any of the following fields required (telephone, date of birth or username for social features), make sure you also complete this step:
- Login to your dashboard: [companyname].codexfit.com
- Navigate to settings then under system settings, select configs
- Then edit general settings
- Tick the box next to telephone, date of birth or username if you want to make these required
If you make these required, make sure you register and update forms are updated to include these or customers will not be able to register on your site.
