If you need to change or substitute an instructor, please follow this guide.
To change/substitute an instructor
- Login to your dashboard [companyname].codexfit.com
- Find the event
- If you are updating a single event
- Find the event in the visual timetable and click the event then select view.
- You'll see in the upper right corner the action to update event properties. Click on this and then click the play button.
- In the pop-up, select the substitute instructor and tick the box to mark it as a substitute. Alternatively, if you are just changing the instructor (maybe it's permanent or was setup incorrectly), then do not tick the box.
- Then click submit and it's all done.
- If you are updating many events, go to the event listing page.
- Using the funnel/filter in the upper right hand corner apply your filters, i.e. events from today onwards for a specific instructor
- Tick the boxes of any events you want to update (or select the tix box at the top to select all matching:
- Then after you've selected all events, in the dropdown that appears, select to update event properties and then change the instructor and decide if you want to mark it as substitute:
- If you are updating a single event
- After you perform the action, all event(s) selected will be updated with a substitute.
You can identify the events in CodexFit that have a sub as a switch icon (🔀) will display both next to the event in the event listing as well as on the visual timetable.
When you are viewing a specific event, you'll also see the name of who the previous instructor was.
Notifications
If you have added an email address to the instructor in CodexFit, the substitute will automatically be reminded about their substitution event 24 hours before it happens, too.
Considerations
- If you substitute an instructor for an event that already has a substitute, CodexFit will change the original instructor to first substitute.
- The substitute icon will automatically show on your website if you had CodexFit integrated from 2022 and later.
